Councillor Jim Robbins

Cllr Jim Robbins was first elected as a Councillor in Swindon in 2012 and has recently been elected as the Leader of Swindon Borough Council after the Labour party took control of the Council in 2023.  He is a Labour & Co-op Party Councillor, and is keen to promote co-operative values at the Council. 

He is passionate about building a better Swindon and ensuring that it is well-placed to deliver economic growth and skilled jobs for residents, as well as ensuring that all residents can meet their potential and the Council is leading on environmental issues and meeting our Net-Zero targets.
