Board Director Recruitment

We are looking for new directors to join our board.  We are a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee.  We have public, private and voluntary sector directors.  We are looking for additional directors from the private and voluntary sectors. More than three-quarters of our directors come from these sectors.

We are looking for people with experience of operating at a senior level in their organisation. We pride ourselves on debate before decisions and so are looking for people who can analyse information, understand potential implications, listen to the views of others and ensure they are active contributors to the discussion.

Annual Report 2021/2022

The start of the financial year saw the incremental easing of restrictions as the government introduced its pathway to living with COVID-19, aligned to its vaccine roll-out programme. 2021/22 was also an important year for government policy announcements set against the backdrop of its Build Back Better: our Plan for Growth report published in March 2021. We welcomed the publication of the UK Hydrogen Strategy and UK Innovation Strategy and continued to focus significantly on Net Zero. Find out more about the last year and what's in store for the future here in Swindon and Wiltshire.
