The Swindon & Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SWLEP) are working with local businesses to develop a local Digital Strategy that will underpin the prioritisation of digital capability investments in Swindon & Wiltshire.

Following a successful Business Breakfast last month, clear themes and areas for action for the Digital Strategy are emerging. These include Infrastructure and Connectivity, Skills and Talent, Ideas and Innovation and Digital Adoption and Productivity.

Businesses across Swindon and Wiltshire are invited to get involved in finalising the draft Swindon & Wiltshire Digital Strategy, by attending either a Business Breakfast event in Salisbury or a Business Lunch event in Royal Wootton Bassett on Wednesday 25th April.

The Government’s UK Digital Strategy sets out the vision for developing a world-leading digital economy and is committed to realising the potential of the sector, ensuring the UK is seen as the best place to start and grow a digital business, recognising that connectivity drives productivity and innovation.

Swindon & Wiltshire’s Digital Strategy will inform a local response to the UK Government’s Industrial Strategy and provide the evidence base and rationale to underpin the prioritisation of digital capability investments in Swindon & Wiltshire.

Tickets to attend the Business Breakfasts are FREE and can be booked here. For further information, please contact our Business Engagement Manager Colette Mallon [email protected] / 07734 679600.
