John Mortimer and Lord Henley 07-02-19
The Government has appointed a new Minister for South Wiltshire, Lord Henley.

Lord Henley is visiting South Wiltshire today and tomorrow (Thursday 7th and Friday 8th February) to find out more about the recovery work underway from the Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SWLEP) and Wiltshire Council.

During his tour of the region, Lord Henley will visit local businesses directly affected by the major incident in March 2018. Ahead of his visit, Lord Henley said:
"As the newly appointed Ministerial Champion for Salisbury I look forward to supporting efforts to ensure this great Cathedral city of commerce, culture and character continues to thrive.
"As Salisbury gets back to business, the Government is working hand-in-hand with local leaders to deliver an ambitious local Industrial Strategy for the area, ensuring Salisbury not only recovers, but leads the way in some of the industries of the future."
